The song's point: to discuss a taboo subject? I'm not much on FZ so I will let others respond.
The point of the post: we were talking Olympics and they are in Canada, specifically, Vancouver. So, even though Montreal is on the other side of the country, it too is in Canada and thus "reminded" the poster of this "great song about Canada". Other than that, I see know other connection between incestuous pedophilia and Olympic gold medal hockey matches, but like I said, I ain't a FZ fan.

Frank Zappa's lyrics tend to annoy me as well. His music is very well composed but his voice/lyrics prevent me from listening to him on any kind of regular basis.
I like to dance and enjoy hip-hip for that aspect but some of the lyrics are just horrible. There are some great remixes that I like to dance to but can't stand the lyrics...
I guess the answer is to Smile & Nod. One can only be responsible for the stuff that they, themselves put out into the world and not for other's actions.

I think those lyrics are all right, if not deep and profound. There are Dead lyrics that don't rate very highly, such as Looks Like Rain and Let It Grow (the latter is a beautiful song but the lyrics are a little embarrassing).
